Everything Is Building Up

May is going to be an insane month.

May is going to be one of those months where everything important happens and for each of these, I'm going to have to upmost attention, and make sure it goes as well as possible.

To start off, I have my second driving test (ran an orange light on the first) on the 1st May...my parents wedding anniversary. I've been doing driving lessons for almost a year and quarter (a year and 4 months) , spending well over £1,000 in driving lessons. I truly believe that tomorrow will go well. I have practiced so long, and learnt so much, that it cannot go wrong. It would be such a waste! It would be such an achievement and relief...and really kick-start my driving career (I am thinking about either racing, trucking, or Uber in the future). Whatever path I take, I need a drivers licence and it will open up so many doors for me, and reduce an awful lot of stress too! My Driving Instructor, who, I don't think wants to be named, is very hard to describe. On one side, he is the ideal, perfect instructor firm, but fair, pointing out all the errors I make, so that I can learn from these, yet also chatty, and a man you can have a nice, normal conversation with, small talk if you will....

Once I do something wrong, it's like the snap of a finger, he switches...I get that driving is dangerous, and can lead to fatal consequences, and I also understand that being a driving instructor is infuriatingly frustrating, as you have to sit with the same pupil making the same mistakes week after week, but shouting at them at the top of your lungs isn't necessarily going to help for all...for some, it may get it into their head, but for others it's too much, it's terrifying it makes one not enjoy driving lessons as much, when I see his car outside my house...the first thought I get is not of joy and excitement...it's sort of like "oh, he's turned up, he's here" but once I get in and set up, these settle down....I assume it's just nerves.....

Following this, on the 3rd - 5th May, it is Nurburgring 24 Hours. Although I am not taking part, due to my licence being too low (a D 4.00 is required), I deeply wanted to and I wish the whole of the RSR Esports team the best of luck.

10th May is when my Media Project is due. For this project I have to create a 30 second advert. I have chosen to do an advert on some model cars I have, and named them "Truswell's Model Car Company" (TMCC)

After a good few weeks to rest, half term begins on 27th May, in this week is the Bathurst Ferrari GT3 Round - the final round of the season (currently on Week 8 of 12).

May 31st - June 2nd is the weekend of the mightly Iracing Le Mans 24 Hours....so many famous names and faces will be there, and I will be right in among them...Incredible!

To end off will be my Maths GCSE, and if I pass that.....that will be a huge achievement, and one my parents will not be able to fathom!
