WEEK 13 – Ferrari GTE - 777 (7 Days, 7 Tracks, 7 Cars)
Week 13 is the week in between the last race of the a 12 week season, and the beginning of the next season. During week 13, all Iratings, Safety Ratings and Licences are all frozen, and it's a week to have fun, have a bit of a mess around and relax during the "off-season". From a Business perspective, Week 13 is used to test new content (Track and cars, and maybe other features) and squash any new bugs which have arisen.
COTA (USA)
So far Iracing was Ok, I was enjoying…and getting good results….but oh fucking boy was that good! My fucking goodness I almost jizzed… So much action on every lap!
Although I wasn’t doing too much overtaking myself, all the people around my were going wild…and it was fun to watch on the first lap I went from 16th up to 12th due to all the accidents going on around me, but as this was my first race in a Ferrari, I was still learning, and dropped to 18th, because everyone was either retiring or crashing, I shot back up to 15th, only to be overtaken by two cars (one of which was because a wire go stuck under my pedal), lucky though, the end of the race was very good for me, and I managed to get into 14th.

Le Mans (France)
Another very exciting race, being only 30 minutes, very little laps were completed, before we even go to the start line, someone got slightly in my way, and kinda made me spin him unfortunately another cable got stuck under my brake, so I pulled over to fix it, Ryan Flanagan overtook me, giving him the class win….Although, we did have a little bit of a pushy battle at the chicane on the previous lap. There was a lot of people blasting past my slow little ass on the straights.

The String Of Retirements
Spa Francorchamps (Belgium)
The big race on the mighty circuit, I was pumped for this one…. Lap 1 was chaotic, and I dropped to 23rd, but despite this, a lot of people retired or crashed, promoting me up to 16th, after a few mistakes, and letting a few cars past, I was down to 17th, a few more retired and I was up to 14th, but my mental health was really bad, I was too hot, took my jumper off on the straight….I just thought how badly everything was going cables, pedals being pushed further and further away, other family and life issues, so when I was in 15th, I pulled over and retired, had a bath and just fucking wept. 14th – 16th would’ve given me 3rd in class and match my top finish, but I didn’t…These guys would have probably found a way past me but, it’s still a shame it had to end this way.
Monza Next, Long straights, but I will survive.

VERY short race, I was on the outside into the chicane into turn one, thought I was clear of the guy behind me, turned in, spun around and broke my steering…and probably my steering’s steering, Thankfully, many others suffered during this race too!

After shooting up to 6th after a start of mayhem, I got too excited and went wide at several corners, and within a couple of laps I had dropped to a depressing 20th, although I got up to 18th after this I definitely had enough and retired. A potential 16th place finish was ahead of me, but I never knew….

Lights out and away we go, and Robin shuffles himself from the inside to the outside before braking hard for turn one, there was a little bit of bumping and banging, before 3 BMW's all got taken out at the bottom of the hill, (Robin was on the inside at the point, and understeered into one, spinning him out)
By the end of the first lap, due to the absolute mayhem, Truswell managed to get into 17th! What a start!
After dropping to 19th, he put the pedal to the metal and zoomed up into 14th, before everyone slowly started to catch him, and overtake him dropping down to 20th, then 21st,
Luckily a last minute retirement from a competitor boosted him upwards....For the first race since Le Mans on Wednesday, Truswell finished. And finished in style, some obligatory donuts were needed afterwards!
So...Truswell is "Back In Business Baby"? -- can he tame this wild, black horse, and do well in GT3's or are the gloves ready to come off before it's even begun? Find out at the next race at Suzuka

After falling to 26th by the 2nd lap, (got wide, a train of cars stormed past) it was very much a recovery drive. Not wanting a repeat of the misery of Le Mans, I continued on, despite it being a lonely and boring race. I struggled up to 18th, thanks to retirements.
