I am so sorry for not blogging for Wednesday and Thursday. I just never got the oppertunity to upload it/the pictures.Anyway. Onto The Blog.
On Tuesday night, instead of watching the rest of Ted, I watched Episode 3, and nearly the whole of episode 4 of Topgear. Wow the Tesla Model X sounds amazing
1. Accelerating
2. Braking
3. Steering
4. Indicating
5. Gives you free cookies
(Ok...Maybe not the last one...) but still the future of the car is changing SO rapidly! 115 Years ago the Patent Motor Vehicle was created by Carl Benz...and that hardly had a roof...let alone 4 wheels!

How was the residential I hear you ask...
I went down to Leiston Abbey, Suffolk to a company called Pro Corda.

(Google Maps)

The whole trip was about Oliver Twist.
The coach journey there was enjoyable...where we watched Dispicable Me and a bit of Shrek.
To begin with we were split up into 2 groups: Year 10 and Year 8 & 7. After splitting up we sang some Oliver songs, accompanied by live music. #NoTechNeeded.
Our second activity of the afternoon was a really annoying, but fun one, where each of us had a Press-A-Button-To-Use bell and we had to not press the button at the same time as someone else. Sounds easy? Try playing this game when everyone has their thumbs hovering on the button! During this time we also played a bit of drums and made up some beats.

After this we had a lunch break, as I didn't like what was served, I asked if there was an 'alternative' and out of the blue came a cheese toastie...Wowcha.
After lunch we were allowed in our dorms...they were small, but cozy....everyone else had someone, if not two people to share a dorm with! But me? I was all alone...

Ok...It wasn't ALL that bad!
After returning from my dorm (my lonely, lonely, dorm) we went and designed some props/backdrop for our mini performance that we would be doing on Thursday. (The next day)
After painting some strawberries we went into the same place we played that annoying but addictive game...

NO! NOT FLAPPY BIRD!!! THE BELL GAME!!! (Anyway. Sorry for getting distracted) and I learnt how to play the viola, a much bigger version of the violin

(We didn't learn any Oliver songs, now that IS impossible!)
After this, both our groups re-united and did a mini-talent show.
What better way to end the night off with a good old film of Oliver with popcorn and milkshake?
That night, I had the worst. Shower. Ever. (Please comment if you have had any worse! I'll be impressed!)
It was so hot that I lept in rubbed the water over myself and leapt like a cat out again! It was un-safely hot!

(WOAH!!!! SOMEONE RECORDED ME?!?!)
For breakfast I had Cereal and toast. For lunch: Cauliflower in that white pasta source. For Desert: Apple Crumble. They told us what desert was before the meal, so I had a chance to say that I didn't like apple very much....and guess what? AFTER THE MEAL THEY GAVE ME JUST CRUMBLE...Once
again this place never fails to disappoint!!!
After lunch we were given a tour around the ruins.
This is the view out of my window This is the inside of a barn This is where Monks used to eat
(SORRY! CAN'T ADD .MOV VIDEOS TO THE SITE...WIX CAN'T DO IT!! ABSOLUTLY GUTTED)
Throughout the day the staff allowed us to have sweets, biscuits and chocolates.
To end it all off we had our 'live musical' if you like. All of the songs from Oliver after one another, with a tiny bit of acting in between.
It was 6.20pm when I got back home. When I did I watched the rest of Topgear.
The next day was Friday (today)
Fairly easy day. Had Science (Power Station)
PE (Football and capture the flag) - the latter I didn't participate in
DT (Preparing for my gsce)
And now...I couldn't go a moment longer without mentioning it...THE EU REFERENDUM.
I am dissapointed and a little bit scared that we left. Sad because, if everything was Ok whilst we were in the EU, then why change, scared because...THIS IS ALL NEW...WHO KNOWS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN???
Let's put it this way: A boy, or girl, going to school alone for the first time. They have no Idea what's going to happen. It's petrifying for some (like me) and for others, they are ready to take on the big wide world.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Sorry about no videos, I did take many on my phone, if there IS a way of getting them to my website/to you I would LOVE to know.
SMILE!!!! IT'S FRIDAY #TGIF
